Software awards. Please, take the time to research what an award means before you go into a download frenzy over “highly recommended” software. The awards that carry any weight whatsoever will have solid standards by which they are awarded.
Shoot for high quality in ANY software you install on your computer. It will save you time and money down the road.
Remember also that quality does not imply high cost. There are quite a few authors that write software, good software, just for the sake of doing so.
